EdTech is a big topic for the MIT Community!
The Education Technology Case Competition aims to advance education reforms through technology. This year, we will focus on emerging markets, particularly on Brazil.
The competition will be based on a real challenge Lemann Foundation is facing today: identify innovative edtech solutions to invest in to advance the teaching quality in Brazil. Lemann Foundation is the leading non-profit organization spearheading innovation in the education sector in Brazil.
We invite teams to present a technological solution that they believe it would improve the teaching quality in Brazil, as well as the way such improvements can be measured. Teams can present a solution that is already in the market (US market for example) or one that they or a startup is working on. Judges will choose the edtech solution that delivers the highest impact given the Brazilian education sector and Lemann Foundation’s mission.
This is a unique opportunity for participants to gain insights into the education technology space within emerging markets and possibly shape the Lemann Foundation’s investment strategy in education technology going forward.
Look forward to meeting you all!
Best,
MIT Sloan Education Club
